IH Wicked Play Outing

IH residents had a wicked night out, full of fun and surprises, as they re-lived their childhood and marveled with the magic of one of the greatest Musical Theater plays of all times: "Wicked". A huge group of 71 residents enjoyed the untold true story of the Witches of OZ at the Apollo Victoria the last 17th and 23rd Nov 2011. Senior Members Rusell Anam and Wallis Motta got an unbelievable discounted price of £15, whilst on top of this they managed to get a subsidy from the IH Club  for many of the tickets. This was a real bargain! All the seats booked were premium seats in the Dress Circle, usually sold at £65 or above.

Here are the receipts... Organising this takes a lot of admin. work - Thanks Russell for everything!

Happy IH Residents on their way to see the show.

Look the great view we got for our seats - Amazing!

The Apollo Victoria is an Art Deco Theater - Senior Member Russell was out and about, ended up seating in the stairs to chat with fellow IH residents.

Here the IH Folk waiting for the show to start

This is the main curtain of the theater- Beautiful Emerald City

Here is Senior Member Wallis Motta Defying Gravity - Ohhhhhhh! LOL!

Those smiles are really of pure happiness.

Everyone was completely excited.

Here our DJ Enzo de Sena and his girlfriend waiting for the 2nd act to go on.

We all acted as good touristy International Students and took plenty of photos.

Amazing company, an incredibly talented cast. Go and watch the show! Don't miss it out!

Many of the students who came to the Outing.

And of course another shot - We didn't all fit into one single shot...

What we loved about Wicked was the production involved in it. The lighting of the stage is incredible, the cranes used and gracefulness of the actresses to appear flying also took our breath away, the dancing and the singing were spotless, the orchestra gave it all. Really a truly amazing night out! We all recommend it!
